Erick Garza attended Columbia Vagelos College of Physicians & Surgeons where he established the Medical Spanish Oasis website with the hopes of helping healthcare students and professionals improve their Medical Spanish through free online resources.
At the 2018 Fall House of Delegates, a Medical Spanish Regional Collaboration was announced to create and provide case scenarios that could be uploaded to the LMSA – Northeast website for all schools to have access to for their Medical Spanish workshops.
Below are three regionally provided scenarios which may be integrated into new or existing Medical Spanish curriculum:
