- Joseph Lopez Travel Scholarship
- Deadline: December 14th, 2022 at 11:59 PM EST
- Award amount: $1000
- This award is given in honor of Dr. Joseph Lopez, National/Regional Conference Chair from 2011-2012. It is awarded to an active NE chapter of LMSA that has demonstrated a commitment to our mission. The funds are to help pay expenses to attend our regional conference.

- State Farm LMSA My Journey To Medicine Scholarship
- Deadline: December 14th, 2022 at 11:59 PM EST
- Award amount: $600
- This award is generously sponsored by Jose Rivera and his State Farm office in Queens, NY. It is awarded to a pre-medical student from the NE region that has demonstrated a commitment to our mission. The funds are to help pay expenses to attend our regional conference.

Spring Scholarships
- Community Impact Grant
- Deadline: January 14th, 2023 at 11:59 PM EST
- Award amount: $500
- This award will be given to an active LMSA NE chapter that is taking the initiative to plan a future event that will impact their community! One application per chapter will be accepted.

- Dr. Helen Rodriguez Trias Chapter of the Year Award
- Deadline: January 14th, 2023 at 11:59 PM EST
- Award amount: $500
- This award is given to the chapter that best exemplifies the ideals of LMSA-NE, namely to recruit Latinos into higher education, educate about Latino health issues, advocate for increased Latino representation in health related areas, and promote awareness about social, political and economic issues as they relate to Latino health, through its activities throughout the year.

- LMSA+ Medical School Application Award
- Deadline: January 14th, 2023 at 11:59 PM EST
- Award amount: $500
- This scholarship was established to support LMSA+ members in the Northeast region by offering a scholarship to cover costs for the medical school application process. One of LMSA's missions is to provide mentorship and increasing the pipeline of diverse medical students.

- Medical Licensing Support Award
- Deadline: January 14th, 2023 at 11:59 PM EST
- Award amount: Full amount of one licensing exam
- This scholarship was established to financially support LMSA NE medical students paying for their medical licensing exams. We want you to highlight how LMSA has contributed to your goals as a future physician.

- Membership Scholarship Award
- Deadline: January 14th, 2023 at 11:59 PM EST
- Award amount: $250 (2 awards)
- This scholarship was established to help LMSA NE chapters pay for their members’ LMSA National Membership. This is aimed towards chapters whose medical school does not pay for their membership fees. It will be awarded to two active LMSA chapters (two separate awards of $250).

- Residency Application Award
- Deadline: January 14th, 2023 at 11:59 PM EST
- Award amount: $500
- This scholarship was established to support 4th year LMSA Northeast medical students paying for their residency applications.

- VSLO Application Award
- Deadline: October 8th, 2023 at 11:59pm EST
- Award amount: $1000
- This scholarship was established to defray the costs of away rotations for 3rd year medical students. Away rotations are “audition” rotations at other programs different from your own. You apply for these amazing experiences in AAMC’s VSLO (Visiting Student Learning Opportunities) portal. You may also hear them called “acting internship” (AI) or “sub-internship” (Sub-I). LMSA NE wants you to be able to afford these applications and participating in the AI when accepted!

Research Presenter Awards
- Pre-Medical Student Award for Excellence in Research
- Award amount: $200 for 1st place, $100 for 2nd place, and $50 for 3rd place
- The purpose of this award is to foster excellence in the research performed by our members and create an environment where students can discuss their work, defend their data, and establish relationships in the Latino/a/x scientific community. This award is specifically for pre-medical students presenting at our Regional Conference.

- Dr. Emilio Carrillo Award for Excellence in Research
- Award amount: $175 for best poster in category (total of 5 awards), $250 for 1st place in oral presentations, $200 for 2nd place in oral presentations, and $150 for 3rd place in oral presentations
- The purpose of this award is to foster excellence in the research performed by our LMSA chapter members and create an environment where students can discuss their work, defend their data, and establish relationships in the Latino/a/x scientific community. This award is specifically for medical students presenting at our Regional Conference.
