- LMSA-NE Essay Scholarship Award

- Award amount: $1000
- This scholarship was established in honor of the humanitarian aspect of medicine. We want you to highlight what being a part of the LMSA community means to you! The winner's work will be highlighted on our website and social media pages! We can't wait to see what our LMSA NE members have been up to!

- R. Jaime H. Rivera Velez Award for Outstanding Community Service

- Award amount: $1000
- This award is given to the individual that best exemplifies the ideals of LMSA-NE, namely to recruit Latinos into higher education, educate about Latino health issues, advocate for increased Latino representation in health related areas, and promote awareness about social, political and economic issues as they relate to Latino health, through its activities throughout the year.

- Women's Health Advocacy Scholarship

- In honor of Dr. Jack Ludmir’s dedication to serve and advocate for the rights of women, this award is meant to recognize efforts aimed at improving women’s healthcare. This includes, but is not limited to, advocacy, research, education, and community service.
