The "Regional Chapter" was created to expand our network and extend our resources to the next generation of physicians within the NE region. The title of "Regional Chapter" will be given to LMSA+ chapters that are fostering students from nearby universities who are interested in being active with LMSA+ but are struggling to establish their own chapters. 

This form serves to gather information on established LMSA+ chapters who are interested in becoming a "Regional Chapter." Below are the guidelines for LMSA+ Chapters who are interested in being a Regional Chapter. After careful review of the guidelines,  please take your time to fill this form. We appreciate your leadership!


Guidelines for becoming a Regional Chapter

1. Host at least 1 event per semester for all chapter members to join. (Event can be either virtual or in-person)
2. Host Chapter Executive Board must have a representative from each school or designate a member dedicated to maintaining relationships with each school
3. Host Chapter must follow all LMSA National and LMSA Northeast Region guidelines. (1 member from the chapter must have a national paying member. A minimum of one member must be present at Fall and Spring House of Delegates)
4. An annual Strategic Plan must be submitted and looked over with the LMSA+ Chairs to ensure proper engagement with external members
